Nigori Sake is unfiltered Japanese rice wine so it takes a cloudy milky appearance. The flavor is quite hard to describe, yeasty, quite strange. Sometimes it can be overpowering to the point of not being able to drink it, but this bottle was wonderful. The stuff that makes this cloudy is filtered out for most varieties of Japanese rice wine and is used in cooking. It can be found in any supermarket in Japan.
