The legal age to buy alcohol and tobacco is 20, but there's nothing to stop anyone from using those machines. New machines have a reader that checks your drivers license which was an obstacle for me as it would not read the foreigner ID cards. Now that I have a drivers license it's not a problem.

can anyone buy beer? no age limit as in the U.S.
