Connections and Disconnections

The mechanism that changes the curve of the track to allow the cars to move from the inbound track to the outbound track is astonishing. Watching what should be a straight solid object can bend and move like that was beautiful. You can't assume every line is unbroken.

That is really cool. I wish monorails were used more often for elevated trains. They seem a lot more minimalistic and would fit in more dense urban areas without the need for tunneling. I would love to see them in Los Angeles but it will probably never happen.
