I actually love them. And would totally wear them, recontextualize them, turning them less "repulsive chic" into a more "lovable chic". I like the blue one on the first page wit the colorful ribbons.
Gem Sweaters! Thank you. Although I think it might be more of a midwest thing, than a texas thing. Although my mother did have a gem t-shirt and sweatshirt. And I had one that was a water melon theme. and another that was made of ripped red bandana and stone wash denim. I have the picture with me here in CHina maybe I should scan it..
